About Camilla Hayman

Director, Camilla Hayman, has eight years experience working with club and elite level coaches and athletes.

As the Executive Officer for Rowing ACT, Camilla has experience in the implementation of strategic plans, management of finance and commercial operations, establishment of a coach education program, fostering of relationships with members and stakeholders and development of promotion and marketing initiatives.

Camilla spent time in the Biomechanics Department at the University of Western Australia as a Research Assistant before moving to Canberra to work in the Department of Biomechanics at the Australian Institute of Sport. Here she worked extensively with swimming and water polo before moving into the Performance Analysis Unit to focus on coach and athlete learning. As a Performance Analyst, Camilla continued to work with aquatic sports as well as rowing, cycling, slalom canoe, rugby league, football, boxing, aerial skiing and snowboarding.

In the field of coaching, Camilla has nine years experience coaching rowing from the school to the sub-elite level and has coached disability swimming for three years.

Camilla has experience traveling with representative teams to North America, Europe and throughout Australia as a Performance Analyst.

Camilla is a graduate of the School of Human Movement at the University of Western Australia. She regularly attends industry forums and has presented at conferences on the topic of Technology in Sport.
